heywolfetone: Bradley Spitzer, 2010 This is part of a series of images shot during the Bonnaroo Music festival in 2010. I like this one a lot. The image is somewhat documentary in nature, capturing the feel of hanging out for the weekend. Casual, young, and sexy people everywhere. The girls are posing together - if I had to guess, I’d say that Spitzer simply approached them to take their photo not previously knowing them. I love the fading of color as the depth of the shot increases. The rich sand (I can feel it - fine, moist) all the way back to the blown out bright sky. He does a nice job bringing out the details of their faces despite the bright background. A nice moment. A nice vibe.
