Madi Diaz’s new record is $5 at Amazon this month, and it’s well worth it. I haven’t listened to anything else in the past week.

Allister is such a great friend and a beauty as well. I need more hang time with this girl but she’s headed back out with The Civil Wars to document their tour through photos and the occasional video. Stay tuned on their tour blog for the latest and greatest visuals of life on the road.

There’s a danger when using a tool (read: camera) and then slowly devolving to believe that it’s the only tool for your work/creation. Using photographic film to take portraits is a process that I won’t be abandoning anytime soon but I have all too often forgotten that I own other great tools to capture moments and places that I stumble across. This beautiful piece by one of my favorite photographers Autumn de Wilde was a great reminder to go out, explore and capture what I see.

And thus, these photos represent what I have seen today that I wanted to share with you.

I was thrilled to work with Len (model) and Kevin (stylist) for the first time a couple weeks ago. This shoot was so relaxed and we didn’t travel more than a block the entire afternoon. Good photos with good dudes.

All clothing from T&P.
